I just moved to South Carolina a few months ago with my now fiance. We moved here together from Ohio where all of our families and friends still are. He wants the wedding down here because of the beautiful location, which I don't blame him but other then 4 of his relatives that live down here everyone else is still in Ohio. I really want the ceremony and reception in Ohio where everyone else is. Also a lot of my family is struggling through this economy right now and I don't feel its right to have them pay all this money to travel down for my wedding when it could be a lot closer to them. This is very fustrating for the two of us. He says he will compromise but then I feel bad because I'm not making him happy either. I have no idea what to do and I need some advice. I'm in quite a jam. I love my future husband and I want to make him happy because its our day together not just mine. I've been hearing just have the ceremony down south and then have the reception in Ohio, but what about my dress?? I envisioned myself being in my wedding dress for it altogether on one day, not seperate occassions. It just wouldn't feel the same. Please help!
