what color shoes to wear with light gray dresses??

I'm having my bridesmaids pick their own light gray dresses for our wedding next September and am hoping to brighthen them up with beautiful yellow flowers.

Suggestions on shoe colors for light gray dresses? Would LOVE to see any pix if you have.

Since grey is a neutral you could put almost any color shoe with it...blue, pink, purple, yellow, orange, aqua, coral, floral print, etc.

But like Edie said, since you didn't mention what other colors you have going on in you wedding it is a little hard to give you a suggestion.

I definatly think a bright color would look real snazzy. Maybe even yellow or you don't have another color! 
If you aren't the 'bongy' type, I think white shoes would go great too. :-)

I let my bridesmaids pick whatever shoes they wanted to go with their light gray dresses. They all ended up in variations of silver or gray.

I think silver would probably be best.  If you are using yellow flowers or accents, black shoes may look a little "bumblebee"ish.

My girls had light gray dresses and I told them to wear whatever they wanted.  They all ended up wearing silver shoes.

I would go with silver shoes with a grey dress.  

But I also agree that if you have the budget for it, yellow shoes could be really cute.

I would probably go with yellow. You can ask your girls if they were wanting to buy new shoes or wear a pair they already had; I told mine they could wear whatever and they all bought a new pair. Had I known that, I would of had them at least buy the same color.

Thank you all so much for your input!! Much appreciated. I think I'm going to go with yellow shoes - I think it will look cute and add some color to the light gray dresses.
They are all picking their own dresses so hopefully it won't be too obnoxious to ask them to get yellow shoes.
