Hey there I usually don't post, but I figured I might as well start getting in on some of the action around here....

I do have to work all week, I was actually suppose to be at work right now and I didn't realize it so my manager called me asking where I was.....I said ummm in bed??? Luckily, I get off Christmas Eve and day

All I have left is my FMIL to buy for, but I'm not really excited about any of my gifts. Everyone's getting just what they asked for, so no big surprises.

New Year's Eve I'll probably be in bed before the ball drops and if not FI and I will be watching a movie....which usually puts me to sleep pretty quickly.

I'm on break from college so I'm enjoying waking up as late as I can, so breakfast for lunch today.....and maybe even for dinner.

Do you have to work all week?  Do you have to work on Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day? I am off almost all week. I'm off almost all next week. I'm off the full first week of January. The beauties of working at a church.

Do you have all of your Christmas shopping done?  What gift are you most excited about giving? Yep. I was most excited about giving my H a set of mini-Beatles dolls dressed in the Sgt. Pepper's clothes. We've already had our Christmas. He loooved them.

What are you doing for New Years Eve? I'll be on a cruise! Wohoo!

What are you having/what did you have for lunch today? I have no idea. Probably something quick, like a pasta bowl...and a pile of cookies.

Do you have to work all week?  Do you have to work on Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day? Yes We have a half-day on Friday, but that's it.

Do you have all of your Christmas shopping done?  What gift are you most excited about giving? Nope! I have none of it done. I'm baking for H's extended fam, so that can't start until Weds since I don't want stuff going stale, and I still have to get H's (although I know what I'm giving him). For ILs and BIL, H needs to help decide what we're giving them. I'm not particularly excited about any specific gift.

What are you doing for New Years Eve? Nothing too big. Last year we watched fireworks from our balcony with my ILs, so we might do the same this year.

What are you having/what did you have for lunch today? Sandwich and zucchini bread.

Do you have to work all week?  Do you have to work on Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day? I'm only working today and tomorrow.  I took Weds and Thurs as vacation days, and my company gives us Christmas Eve day off.  They also give us the week between Christmas and New Years off.

Do you have all of your Christmas shopping done?  What gift are you most excited about giving? Nope.  We still have a couple of people to finish shopping for, but we are almost done.  We got my mom a Kindle for Christmas, and even though I think she knows we got her one, I'm still excited to give it to her.  Also, I bought H a new bag for his golf clubs, and I don't think he has any clue so that will be exciting.

What are you doing for New Years Eve? Not sure yet.  We've been invited to a couple of parties so we'll have to decide between those.

What are you having/what did you have for lunch today? Not sure.  I didn't pack anything for my lunch besides yogurt, so I'll have to go down to our cafeteria and buy something.  Probably a sandwich.

What are you having/what did you have for lunch today? Haven't decided. I'm not looking forward to what I brought so I'm thinking about hitting up Wawa.

Do you have to work all week?  Do you have to work on Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day?  I work through Thursday, then I'm off until 1/3.  DH was also supposed to have Friday off, but he got pulled onto a route this morning.  He's hoping he can negotiate and take Friday off anyway, especially since the guy he's covering decided to take the entire week off because he's "not feeling well."  Direct quote.  Gag.

Do you have all of your Christmas shopping done?  What gift are you most excited about giving?  Yeah, except for the gifts we have to pick up for the in-laws' blind exchange.  It's a $10 limit, so we'll just pick up something random.

What are you doing for New Years Eve?  No plans yet.

What are you having/what did you have for lunch today?  Not sure.  My mom is in town today, so I'm going to try to get through all of my cases as quickly as possible and then book it home to get some cleaning done.  I didn't pack anything because we didn't go grocery shopping this weekend (so there's nothing TO pack), but I'll sort that out later.

I'm off on Friday ... and there's a good chance we'll be told to go home at 3 on Thursday (It's not a definite, but almost every year the management decides to shut down early the day before Christmas Eve)

I'm off for both. DH is working Christmas Eve, but he gets out at 4. And he's off on Christmas.

I still want to get one more thing for my little sister, but otherwise, everybody's done. I'm most excited about the wireless Xbox controller I got for DH, because he's been trying to figure it out for over a week now (He does this any time I get him a gift-and he usually manages to figure it out) and I'm like 99% sure he won't manage to guess this one.

What are you doing for New Years Eve?
We're going to my parents' house for their annual party. The next day is our anniversary and we want to enjoy it, so we're not going to go too crazy the night before.

What are you having/what did you have for lunch today?
I just swiped a bagel from the kitchen at work (My lunch hour isn't until 2, and I'm starving now, lol). I have no idea what I'll do at lunch time, but I'll probably try to keep it small.

We have most of it done...and honestly, the one gift I was most excited about giving, I already gave...I got my friend a Kris Letang Winter Classic Pens jersey...and I gave it to her last week because she took me to the Pens/Rangers game and I wanted her to have it to wear She practically cried when she opened it!

What are you doing for New Years Eve? We don't know yet...there are things going on, but I'm just as content staying home and ringing in the new year with my FI and kids and maybe a few guests

Do you have all of your Christmas shopping done?  All of my shopping is done, except for picking up a gift card for my sister and BIL.  I've put it off since that's not really hard to pick up and I'm still debating whether to give them a GC for a night out at a restaurant or one to Home Hardware to upgrade their light fixtures.

What gift are you most excited about giving?  I'm most excited to give FI his present!  He has no clue what I got him.   I'm also really, really excited to give my nieces and nephews their presents, since this will be the first year I get to watch them open their presents Christmas morning!

What are you doing for New Years Eve?  We haven't decided yet.  We might go over to my sister's or we might go out with friends.  The important thing is that we get to watch the hockey games.  (There's on NYE afternoon and another NYD.)

What are you having/what did you have for lunch today?  I skipped lunch today on account of my exam.  I get too nervous to eat.   But now I'm really, really looking forward to chicken wings for dinner!!

That is an awesome, awesome present!  Is it the new winter classic jersey?  I like the old ones better but the new ones are pretty nice too.  Sorry you didn't get to watch them win. :(

Do you have all of your Christmas shopping done?   yup - started and finished this morning.  I still need to get something for MOH, but I'm planning on getting something while we're in SC. 
What gift are you most excited about giving? FBIL's.  We forgot to ask for a box, so we put it in a large saltine cracker box.  Can't wait to see his reaction.  As far as actual gift, a game called "fact or crap" for a couple we spend New Year's w/.
