Demoting bridesmaids?

I found ANOTHER reason for when you can demote a bridesmaid.....If they kill someone!!

I just saw the Dexter season 3 finale!

That's hilarious. It is a good reason, though. And I wouldn't want a murderer listed in the program, but I still wouldn't replace them..

I love that show. If you haven't seen it, you definitely should. We're now awaiting the release of season 4 on dvd.

Ha, one of our groomsmen almost dropped himself out for jail.  Nothing like murder, just marijuana, but still.  My job came in handy on that one. 

I love Dexter.  I really wanted to get Showtime this year so we could watch season 4, but we're waiting for netflix again.

We don't have showtime. I'd rather just hear that a show is good by word of mouth and then get the entire season to watch. DH and myself keep saying that we could not imagine having to wait an entire week for a Dexter episode! It's so addicting and cliff hangy!

That settles it..Im getting FI to download them all to the TIVO tonight. Sounds like I would like this show, and my sister recommended it to.

And I don't know where FI gets all these shows or how they get on our TIVO. Its better not to ask.

Sarah, I am beginning to think that Showtime has it going on.

I am absolutely obsessed with The Tudors as well, although I don't think guys would necessarily love this show.

I love the Tudors!  And based on what I learned studying that period of British history, it's almost all accurate, too--they were a really was a f*cked up family.  I'm sad that they're stopping with Henry VIII and not going into his children.  Between his death and Elizabeth's ascent to power it was a rollercoaster.

I love the Tudors too! One season per wife, right??

And we loved Rome, and Weeds, and Dead Like Me and Mad Men ( i know its not showtime, but we hadn't watched from the beginning). We have had all of them, unofficially of course, on our Tivo at one time or another. He has the Wire on there, but I havent found time to be engrossed in it.

And I saw the SB stuff too. I don't get how what they quoted you as saying could inspire such hate, but oh well. They are back, so I can stick to lurking on there and or not visit anymore. When some of those latest OPs go back, they will have quite a shock waiting for them.

It probably wont' shock anyone that these are the same "ladies" who berated my FI for getting laid off in the worst recession in 70 years, for not finding a job right away, and for not applying to McDonald's to make ends meet.  I explained that it was demoralizing for him, not only because he has an MBA but also because frankly places like that don't hire overqualified people often because they know they'll leave as soon as a better opportunity comes up.  So it would be a waste of time and frankly a demoralized job seeker is the worst possible scenario because he would likely stop looking at all.  But it led to all sorts of insults.  

I hope neither they nor their FIs/DHs ever find themselves out of work for an extended period.  It's hell and people saying "he just needs to try harder" doesn't help.  DH wasn't sitting on the couch playing video games for almost a year, he was doing everything he could.  No one was hiring!

The board used to be called Advice From Brides (AFB).  They changed it to Snarky Brides a while ago.  Advice From Snarky Brides, I guess. 

What's going on?  Is it all the old AFSB/NEY people?
