Alternate name for GIRL ring bearer.....

Hi!  So, my 3-year-old niece and my fiance's 3-year-old cousin are going to be the flower girls in our wedding.  We also want to include my other niece, who will be a couple months shy of 2 by that time.  We'd like for her to act as the "ring bearer" however, I don't want to use that title as people always associate the title with it being a boy.  Would it be appropriate to put "Ring Bearess" in our program?  If not, does anyone have any other suggestions??  Thanks so much!!!

Kinda sounds like "Ring Bare Ass."

I'd stick with Ring Bearer, personally. I think an alternate name would just sound goofy.

Ring bearer is not a gender-specific title, it works for both a boy and a girl.  I agree with malphabet that "ring bearess" just sounds awkward.

Is "bearass" even a word?  I just looked it up in Websters and it wasn't there.

I'm pretty sure "bearer" is a gender neutral title. You never see female characters in books and movies saying "I hate to be the bearess of bad news".
