No friends for bridesmaids. :(

I have pretty much NO close girlfriends that I would consider asking to be my bridesmaids. I've got my fiance's sister, whom I'm not close to.  I've also got my old supervisor...but I'm afraid to ask her, as she's a single mom of 3 kids and it might be too expensive for her to have to buy a dress... My fiance is having 3-4 groomsmen. I don't think it'd look right to have me up there alone. :( Any advice?

    My aunt had no attendants (my cousins were supposed to be FG, but pulled out the morning of) and my uncle did. No one even noticed! If you are close to your parents maybe have them both walk you down the aisle and stay standing with you?
