I am getting Boudoir photos done next friday and I was contemplating getting my makeup done, I think I want to so I was wanting the name of the girl that some of you have used. Also, I think ya'll said the cost is $50 is that correct?? Do you just pay them $50 or do you actually buy $50 worth of makeup. Thanks for the help!!!

Monica used Vanessa at the MAC counter and was very happy. You have to buy $50 worth of product. For boudoir pics, I would recommend picking up the powder and lipstick.

Krystan, I like to use MAC make-up but, when I have gone into the actual store to get my make done, it felt so heavy and caked on! It's theatrical make up so it will be very heavy. So if you're not going for that look than let her know. If you do that you should have no worries!

For these pictures I want the more done up look, Just something different and Bold I guess you could say. I'm taking the pictures and getting a "little black book" it will be a small album the that photographer designs with the photos and I will be giving it to my FI on our wedding day!

I did boudoir photos last weekend and I used Pasha from the actual MAC store at north star.  I really, really liked how it turned out.  It is a more "done up" look than I am normally comfortable with but that is what I wanted.You just have to buy $50 worth of product which is east for me since I usually use MAC anyway.

Thanks for the info. Did you make an appointment at the actually mac store or did you just go there? Did you take a picture of yourself with your makeup done??

I made an appointment at the store.  On weekends they are pretty busy so I would definitely make an appointment. I didn't take pictures of myself but I did take pictures of other people with makeup that I liked so that I could give her an idea of what I was looking for.
