We are going back to my hometown out of state for our wedding. My fiance doesn't really have anyone out there who can be in the wedding party and doesn't know if the few friends he has out here will be able to make it. I know you don't have to be even with your bridal party, but 5 bridesmaids to 1 groomsman seems very lopsided don't you think?

Meh, we had 2/4.  It was almost 1/4, but the GM managed to show up at the last minute.  I would recommend having his BM stand up at the front and having the girls process up alone.  Then for the recessional, have the MOH walk out with the BM, and the rest of the girls can walk out in pairs.

It's not a big deal.  DH's cousin had 5 GM and his wife just had a MOH.  It was fine.
