Yellow BM Dresses...now what color for shoes

Hello Knotties:My wedding is not until next may so i have plenty of time to decide or ask my girls to decide, but what color shoes would you wear with a yellow tea length dress (likely to be satin like material)?  i want to avoid the dyables since i have 8 girls and would rather they get shoes they can hopefully wear again and also not a huge fan of dyables  I would prefer something strappy and believe they would too, maybe natural color? Any advice would be great!

Re: Yellow BM Dresses...now what color for shoes

  • Have you seen all the dyeable shoes out there? Some of them are really cute and then come in tons of different styles (most of which are strappy).Look on Zappos under dyeable bridal shoes if you don't believe me. :-)

  • I'm with you on the dyables.  I would pick a neutral color and tell them to find their own strappy sandals in that color.  Maybe black (depending on the color scheme) or natural or even silver.
  • I'd go with brown or a metallic shoe. Black and yellow remind me of bumble bees.
  • I don't know what your other colors are, but pink could be really cute, or turquiose, or black, or navy...it really depends on what the rest of your colors are...

  • I think maybe a bronze, nude, or even gold would be pretty.
  • bronze or gold strappy sandals.  I agree with banana on the bubble bee look of black.
  • gold , white ,silver , black depends on the shade of yellow
  • I like the navy idea....I'm not sure how easy it is to find navy shoes...but I think they would be a good color combo.
  • I would go with a gold or bronzy color. Navy works great with the yellow. I am not hype on the black with the yellow has it does send off the look of a bumblebee.
  • I'm having yellow bridesmaid dresses and just having the bridesmaids wear gold shoes. I figure they would be able to wear gold shoes again as opposed to yellow shoes. Also, I don't like the idea of dark shoes like black or navy with a yellow dress. I think it would take away from it.
