Flowergirl dress?? Will it matter?

My daughter is going to wear ivory while my dress is white. Does it really matter?? The bridesmaids are in black & silver.... any thoughts?

Re: Flowergirl dress?? Will it matter?

  • Nope. You spend so little time next to the FG (I think I took 3 pictures with mine and they sat during the ceremony) that it isn't worth a worry in the world :)

  • No, I don't think it will really matter, but I'm just curious, is there a specific reason why it has to be ivory as opposed to white?

  • Nope - it's fine to have varying shades.
  • Seriously nobody will notice
  • I'm pretty sure no-one is going to mistake her for being the bride, I think you're safe!
  • It has to be ivory because we are actually letting her wear her christening gown from when she was a baby. (Which is ivory) We got her christened when she was 8 months old (She is 2 now) but because the gown was a little too big for her back then & extremely long in the length, it fits perfectly now. Its a gorgeous gown, probably one of the best Ive ever seen so rather than keep it locked up in a box, we may aswell use it for her FG dress too.
