Wedding Party

BM gifts

What is a good gift to give my bridesmaids?  I have 7 of them and I am on an extreem budget.

Re: BM gifts

  • I bought each of mine a $10 picture frame from Target, the kind that has 15 add'l slots behind it (kind of like a hanging photo album) and then printed out enough photos to fill it from all the years I knew my BMs; I printed them at Costco for something like 10¢ each. I then bought some blank cards with a pretty design and wrote each one a note about how much they meant to me, how much I appreciated their friendship, and how excited I was that they were there to share the day w/ me. They went over VERY well. In the end I think I spent less than $20 per person.

"I think bablingbrooke is the 13 yr old marring her cousin at the town hall. Lets all give her a big hand. And hope her inbred children can live normal lives." -tabs.

A word of warning from your friends at Cracked.com: Remember that text is going to be how you make your first impression over the internet; if every third word you type is misspelled, people will automatically assume that you're a moron.
  • I bought all of mine different things. Everyone says shop as if it was their birthday, and I tried to do that and make it something that I normally wouldn't get them, something a little nicer. We averaged about $30/person. One thing that really helped was looking around online. You can usually find some nice things for better prices (I got my sister a sword for $35 that is usually $100 if you went into a store). Good luck!

Repeat this to your self: My Wedding Party is made of my family and friends and I should treat them as such.
  • I went to outlet stores and discount stores to look around, so try that in order to get good stuff on a budget. I got my MOH a Coach makeup bag at the Coach outlet for WAY below its retail price. I got my BM a handbag from Marshall's and cosmetics bags from Burlington Coat Factory, all by her favorite designer, and spend a total of $16.
