I am trying find ballet flats for my girls to wear.  I am trying to find them in a pewter color. Like a dark silver or slate grey.  Does anyone know of a place I should look? Thanks so much!!

Re: ballet flats

  • Not sure, but have you tried Zappos.  However, if that's your full name as your SN then you may want to delete this and create a new SN.  The repost under the new SN.  Just warning you because apparently there was a problem once with some crazy chicks on this site.  Apparently people have had someone cancel venues for example.  Also, I have seen people look up info on posters.  You never know if someone crazy is on this site.Plus the boards die around this time.  If you can repost right now, you won't miss too many opportunities for answers.
  • Please let them pick their own shoes that compliment the dress this even with flats will prevent foot pain which uncomfortable bm wikll be much more obvious then their bm shoes. Let them pick their own in their own budget that said I like 6pm.com for shoes
  • Rocket dog shoes are great.  I own several pairs and love each and every pair!
  • Ballet flats don't have a lot of support, so your BMs' feet might be aching by the end of the day. Regular flats (not the soft ballet flats) might be better. Plus, some women are very particular about what goes on their feet. Different shoe styles work well/not so well for different women. I would really think twice about making them wear the same shoe. Just ask that they get a silver flat of their choice. People won't notice or care if they're in the same shoes or not. That being said, if they've all agreed that they want matching flats, check out Zappos.com, Marshall's, Target and Payless.

  • The other ladies had great recommendations - and also great insight. The shoes can be very cute but please just check with the ladies before you opt for the shoe.
  • Ditto everyone else. Make sure that ballet flats are okay with everyone. They really hurt my feet because most have zero support (especially arch support) and I personally find heels much more comfortable!
  • and Im the total opposite, I love ballet flats but a total klutz when I wear heels, so I dont.  Maybe give your BM's a choice.I was at DSW shoes yesterday and the had a ton of ballet flats, look up their website.  The prices werent too bad either.
