  • I DD'd it because it was about other people whose dirty laundry I was airing. I announced I was deleting and thanked them for their comments. And I got some good comments, but got many, many others faulting me for not giving my husband orders to do something and to stop seeing someone. Yeah, that's a good M.O. Let me know how that works out for all of you who do that.

  • I did find it amusing that Nest boards deal with cleaning, coupons, holiday decorations, and getting pregnant. Not a single board about working/going to grad school/etc. during marriage and juggling all those things. I mean when were these boards created, 1950?

  • Ok - it's a board with a bunch of hormonal (read: crazy) women on it. It's like they speak another language. The attachment parenting board... OMG. Their siggys are annoying enough, with 3 pics, 4 tickers and multiple badges.

  • Perhaps the only women with time to "nest" are the SAHM? Because all the working women are obviously sane and stay here on theknot for entertainment.

  • I checked out the attachment parenting board. I fear for the future. Obviously only sane ladies come to TK ;)

  • I like to check out the Relationships and Family Matters boards. Lots of hilarious and crazy in-law drama there! I agree, most posts are about women having a DH problem (which most of them do- My MIL says craptastic things to me and my DH does nothing and lets her walk all over him, but it's all MIL's fault, waaaaa!) or that their DH is cheating on them. However, you would be suprised at how many women come back and say, yep, he was cheating on me. But there is usually much entertainment on those boards. Like the girl that was pen pals with some chinese guy during her senior year of high school, moved over there and married him two weeks later. She doesn't fully speak chinese and he doesn't speak english....

Repeat this to your self: My Wedding Party is made of my family and friends and I should treat them as such.
  • I almost posted on the family matters board, but decided against it because the girl I was going to vent about isn't family. She is 'supposedly' carrying my brothers child (I don't 100% believe it without a paternity test) and I fear for this child if it is indeed my brother's child. Not to mention the mother of this unborn child who is supposedly my niece is smoking while pregnant (HUGE no-no with me) and only wears her seat belt if she crosses into NY state. Um, hello! WTF?! Like you can't get in a car accident in Pa?!I'm just highly concerned for this baby. For the sake of this unborn little girl, I hope she's not my brothers as my brother will make a lousy father.. with his addictions and in and out of jail.Gah. Ok, I think I probably said too much, so I am stopping now. =/
