Bridesmaid... birthing!

No, not around the wedding, today!  My older sister started having contractions about six hours ago.  I have a lot of step and in-law nieces and nephews, but I'm about to be an aunt for reals!  EEEEEE!That is all.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

    Charlotte Abigail was born after about 9 hours of labor.  Mom and baby are apparently doing fine, I'm going to call for more details tomorrow.  I'm also going to start looking at flights so I can go out and visit them before things go crazy at Thanksgiving, we'll see.I was hoping for a girl.  :D
