Wedding reception in Hawaii

Hi, my fiance and I wanted to have a beautiful and elegant wedding in Hawaii. Chose Kauai for its beautiful cliffs ad thinking more secluded.  However, we have not found anything that would b very elegant and yet on the smaller side.  We thought of St. Regis.  However, they want 30 nights and we're not sure whether it's truly elegant after the reviews we saw in Trip Advisor.  Do you have any recommendations for reception site in Hawaii that we may explore.  At this point we're open to other islands besides Kauai. Thanks a bunch for your helpJess

  • I've got nothing, but there is a destination weddings board (use the drop down at the top right).  They will probably have a lot more info than this board.
  • Ditto Leah, I have only been to Hawaii when I was 14.

  • I have heard that the Hyatt on Kuaui is beautiful!
  • Have you looked at the Grand Hyatt on Kauai?  DH & I honeymooned there, and the grounds are gorgeous.

  • Try The Beach House Restaurant in Lawai Beach, Kauai. Or Plantation Gardens Restaurant in Poipu. I've looked at these places before when I was trying to decide where I wanted to get married. I've been there too and it's beautiful at both places.
