Do your bridesmaids LIKE pearls? That's what I would ask first.

I would like them. I would like any gift of jewelry. I love the other ladies on here, but I think the anti-jewelry "militancy" can go too far. Pearls are a pretty standard piece of jewelry that I really don't think you could go wrong with.

I should mention, I got my girls jewelry, but none of them matched and they were not "for the wedding."

I think they're nice...but not necessarily my taste or something I'd use often.What would your friends think? Are they their style? That's the important question!

I think most women who like pearls already own those earings or something very very very similar ( I owe both pairs almost identical ) those who do not already own probably would not like. Those who already own have no reason for two pairs

I think they are nice but they really aren't my style.  I would consider first if your BMs would like them before purchasing.  I wouldn't wear pearls...could your BMs be the same?
