bm dress?

So i have been looking on here for bridesmaid dress ideas- and to be honest i am not loving any of the davids bridal dresses. I am looking for deep dark colors that are more long and silk/ satin ish and with some sort of straps.Any one no of places to look that you can go to that would have this kind of stuff? I am one of those younger people who really has only heard of davids bridal to go and try things on for a semi ok price.Thanks in advance! Hope all the planning is going well!

    Have you tried Alfred Angelo? That's where my bridesmaids got their dresses. They're similar to David's Bridal but better.

    Ditto PP. Check out Alfred Angelo, but wait until you are MUCH closer to the wedding.  I started looking at dresses with my BMs like 6 months before the wedding.

    Start looking about six months out. If your wedding is in 2011, I promise you that you will change your mind. I was engaged for just over a year and the BM dresses we wound up with were *completely* different from the ones I thought I wanted.

    Look at department stores.  My favorite dresses are usually at JC Penney.  Like pp have said, it's too early to decide, but I like looking anyway. :)
