Can I have 2 MOHs?

 I have an older unmarried sister(who is not local) who I would like to ask as my MOH. My FI has a younger sister who is local and has already been helping me plan the wedding. I love them both and don't plan on asking other bridesmaids, so I was wondering can I have 2 MOHs? Is that not typical?

    My best friend had 2 MOH (in which I was one), I see no problems.

    Yes it's acceptable to have 2.  I had a maidOH and a MatronOH.  And just as an FYI the MOH doesn't have an obligation other than to buy a dress and show up so you shouldn't make your decision based on who will help more.

    I have two MOH also.  Orginally it was a maid of honor and a matron of honor, but now my maid of honor is getting married the january before me (my cousin and i am so thrilled for her) so now I will have two matron of honors.  even though they both hate the word "matron" lol
