Hardest thing ever

My Fi and I went to a friend's wedding this past weekend. Her dress was almost exactly like mine. My dress came in Friday but I can't go pick it up until at least wednesday! I'm having a hard time not telling my FI about my dress but this weekend at the wedding almost KILLED ME!!! It was so hard not telling him about the dress as I looked at my friend's dress which was almost like it.

Anyone else feeling this pain?

Oh I can only imagine! My friend is getting married in April, and our dresses are exactly the same. Total coincidence, I got mine first and only showed it to a few people (not including this girl), and then after she got hers a mutual friend said our dresses sounded alike...low and behold, same store and same dress. I rushed right home and told FI all about the crazy coincidence, and I've thought a couple times about how hard it would have been to be in her shoes and remembered not to say anything since her FI saw my dress first.

My dress was a secret. DH wanted it that way. But I had a moment of almost spilling the beans. I occassionally watched the Bridezilla marathon on Sundays, and the one night I was watching it, I saw that Bridezilla Adrienne had my dress. Not only did she have my dress, but her BMs had my exact BM dresses only hers were in black (Mine were dark purple). As soon as I saw it I was like "OMG, NO EFFING WAY!!!!!". DH was in the kitchen, hear's me say this, runs into the living room (Where my dress is being paraded around on the tv screen) asking what happened ... I very pathetically covered with "Oh, she just said some really horrible thing to her husband. They've been married like, what? 10 minutes? What a biotch".

Dressed do look different on each individual person...really! Being a man, he probably didn't even notice her dress! ; )

No the only other wedding FI and I attended together was my cousins last year. Her's was totally different and he wouldn't remember her dress anyway. Hell he doesn't even remember her name!
