Having my ceremony on a Tuesday (to keep our anniversary the same) and the reception on that Friday. Because of this, I don't think it's appropriate to have a wedding party, because we would be asking to take up too much of their time ... any thoughts/recommendations?
UPDATE:
We planned on having our parents & siblings attend the ceremony - we are hoping for a certain venue & it's 3 hours away - but we still want to celebrate our marriage with our family & friends, hence the Friday reception.
Also, it's to keep our dating & engagement anniversary the same as our wedding anniversary.
