I'm at home, blogging/watching TV with the dog by my side. FI's training for a tournament right now (team handball...NOT foursquare), so he doesn't get home until 11ish on weeknights all month

Good news is that dinner was made by someone else for a change! FI and I usually split household duties, but I've been doing most things lately since he's so busy. Luckily having a housekeeper is really inexpensive in Chile, and ours comes on Wednesdays, so we once again have clean dishes and food.

Oh, jealous Emily! I wish we had someone making dinner for us once a week. It would be great to taste someone else's work. I cooked on Monday night actually so I'm off the hook for the rest of the week. I don't get off until midnight tonight. Sigh

I've got nothing exciting.  I'm getting ready to watch Jeopardy and cook dinner.  I think it's going to be spinach pesto over whole wheat rigatoni, but the post on E is making me want to order new and improved dominoes.  I think my diet is about to crash and burn.

Mynameisnot: Me and DH just started counting calories together and while I find it hard at times, I feel good knowing that my ice cream cone was only 150 calories and if I don't get cheese or mayo, it goes down again.

Spinach pesto sounds kind of delish.

Stina, I think when we move back to the US, I'll be jealous of my Chilean life too. It's REALLY nice being able to afford someone to come in and reset my life once a week. And she's a good cook of all the longer oven-based things that FI and I never seem to make time to cook ourselves.

I'm jealous, too!  I would like a housekeeper and home cooked (not by me) meal. 

What are your plans for moving back to the US?

I tried hiring a housekeeper for once every other week and she got sick on the day she was supposed to start.....

I tried a little piece of that new pizza last week at a friend's house and it was pretty tasty. I am a thin crust fan, though, and no chain compares to our favorite joint.

I am just at home, tired as all heck. I stepped up my bootcamp sessions from 3 to 5 times a week and I am SORE. I'll get used to it though. We had tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner and I am still under my calories for the day.. maybe that's why I'm so damn tired..

We've tossed around the idea of moving in 5 years or so. Basically we have a really good life now (my chicken is yummy, by the way, haha), but I think once we start talking babies the US might have some advantages in terms of education and how we'd like to raise our kids.

However I always say that 5 years ago I never thought I'd be living in Chile, so I'm not making any concrete plans for where we'll be 5 years from now.

I need to decide now if I'm going to a big audition tomorrow. I have read on fb that some of my friends are waking up at 4:15 to get there. Eek!
