Ring Bearer(s) but no Flower Girl?

I'm a little new around here and will fully admit that my date (5/7/11) is little far to be worrying about such things; however I don't see this this changing. . .ever.
I have a cousin with three boys (4 and under) that I may use one or all of for the rings.  They are super super cute.  However, I don't know any litte girls that belong to someone I like.  Is it a big deal to have a ring bearer with no flower girl?
Does it make it a bigger deal if FI's brother's long term girlfriend (who I don't like) has a daughter the right age for flower girl?
I would love to get some opinions.

    YOu can have as many ring bearers and flower girls you want, in any number combination, or none at all. Its all ok.

    The only combination of attendants, adult or child, that ISN'T okay is the one that causes people who you want to include to be left out for arbitrary reasons.

    Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

    You dont' have to have FGs.  And you can go older--my FGs were 9 and my RBs were almost 11.

    But please wait until you're about six months out to ask.  For little kids that's the perfect amount of time for them to get excited but not too far in advance.

    You most definitely do not need to have flower girls.  There is no law that says you need them.  It’s your day, it’s your choice; just don’t let the person that you don’t particularly like to influence you in your decision making, which is similar to my current dilemma.
