My colors are chocolate brown, turqoise or teal and my favorite flower is the "star gazers" with that beautiful fusia color? do u think if i have the bridesmaids dresses chocl. brown w/ teal sash and those flowers be too colorful or would that look good? I also wanted to have long stems for my bouquets...any suggestions??

In my opinion, I think it would be a bit too colorful. I know we're having spring weddings, a time where everything is vibrant [you're getting married a day before me!] but with the turquoise/teal color, it'd be a bit much. If you took off the sash, I think it would work, but with it-not so much.I know some asiatic lilies that are just white and yellow would look well with the brown, but again, the teal is throwing off your flower color scheme. I'm not a florist but I do paint, so my opinion is just my opinion...You can always switch the colors around but if you're really set on this scheme, perhaps consult a florist and see what a professional would say :)

I say it's whatever you like! I was using teal as one of my colors and finally had to give it up because it's really hard to work in with your other colors. Maybe some orange lilies? Or maybe some sort of solid fuschia flowers? Just throwing out a few ideas. Good luck! I've changed my colors so many times!!

In my own opinion, i think that the three colors might be a bit much for the flowers.  I agree with the post above, the white lillies would look amazing with the brown and teal.  I wouldn't take away the teal sash, perhaps you could use your fav flower in your bouquet.

Forgot to add, Stock is a wonderful long stemmed flower that comes in all sorts of colors.  It smells wonderful and is inexpensive.

Just to play a bit with your colors have you considered using the brown and the color of your flower that you love instead? The only reason I say that is that you tend to see a lot of the brown and teal combo or black and "tiffany blue" so why not do something a little different? :) It's just an idea :)
