First off I want to thank all you girls for all your prayers, thoughts, and words of encouragement with my family tradegy the week of my wedding. I can't explain how much all you helped.
So Brett and I made it through our tough week. His Dad's funeral was Thursday and we had our Rehearsal Dinner Friday night where Brett gave an amazing toast to his father. It was beautiful. I started weather stalking 10 days out from my wedding and it was supposed to be 40% chance of rain. The day of my wedding (Oct. 10th) was so beautiful. My entire wedding was outdoors and it was clear skies and nice and cool. I think Brett's Dad had something to do with that. As well as during our ceremony (which was outdoors at the Dominion Country Club) while we were saying our vows... a single white HUGE bird flew right over us. It was amazing and gave us both chills. Everything turned out to be perfect though, we left a spot for his Dad on the altar, and the evening ran so smoothly. We ended up going on our honeymoon. Got back late last night and we had a wonderful time. Told stories and laughed of great memories of his father. Again thank you all so much for your prayers and thinking of me. I ended up having the wedding of my dreams and although it was not quite perfect it was pretty close and there was nothing I could do about that. Hope you all are having a fantastic weekend... much knottie love to you all!!! PS as soon as you get married it tries to make you get on the nest!
