I was so caught up in being thankful for you all I almost forgot to do the reviews! Brickhouse Bridal- A+ This is a bridal store in Houston. My parents live in Houston and its where I bought my pronovias gown. Jill helped me and was wonderful. I went to several bridal stores and Brickhouse was the most professional and were the nicest. I went back several times to try on my dress and they were never pushy or irritable with me. The Dominion Country Club- C So this was where my Ceremony was held at. Outside on their terrace. It is soooo beautiful (you will see in pictures) the golf course is in the background and I was a college golfer and Brett is Catholic and I am Methodist so we decided an outdoor wedding was best. Anyways I loved this place because it was naturally beautiful, however the catering manager is VERY unorganized. If I was having my reception here and having to deal with her much more I might have hung myself. She takes forever to get back with you. She was supposed to send me a final contract the week before the wedding and I explained to her everything that was going on with Brett's family and she still never sent it. Was supposed to be there on the day of the wedding and was not, someone else was but someone I had never met before. They didnt have enough chairs set up outside, and kept having to ask me stupid questions a few hours before the ceremony started. Luckily I had an amazing wedding planner (not with the Dominion) and we had beautiful weather otherwise it could have been a diaster!!!! Not happy with the Dominion though. Monte Vista Strings- B+ I had a violinst and guitarist for the ceremony music. They were beautiful (from the Symphony) just a little pricey and were asking Brett alot of questions right beforehand as well but overall satisfied with them. Eden's Echo- A++ After reading so many reviews on here about Erin McLarty I decided within a month a my wedding to switch to her and it was a wonderful decision. Since I needed her only for bouquets and bout. she fit me in and everything was perfect. I loved my bouquet! Erin is the best and is sooooooo easy to work with. Kate's Frost- A++ Brett and I decided a long time ago we wanted cupcakes instead of cake. We tasted several companies in San Antonio and no one compared taste or price to Kate with Kate's Frost! We had 7 flavors! Carrot, red velvet, choc, vanilla, monte cristo, pumpkin, and cinnamon crumb.... all equally delicious. She came all the way to Bandera and set everything up perfect for us. I will use her in the future for showers or parties for sure.... Madame Makeup- B+ I give Madame Makeup a B+ because my sister, mom and I were all supposed to start at 11 and be finished by 1:30. There was a bride before me who showed up late and caused everyone else to be pushed back so that dissapointed me a bit. However after one of the girls saw I was getting a little nervous she called another girl for backup. The girl who did my hair, Sarah was AMAZING! Sarah gets A++ My hair could not have been more perfect for what I wanted and I will show pictures soon. I loved my hair. Elizabeth did my makeup and she gets A++ too! She did mine, my moms, and my sisters and from noon until midnight that night none of our makeup budged. I loved it. I dont have the best skin but I was covered up nicely. The Mayan Dude Ranch in Bandera- A++ This was where our reception was held. Everything was beautiful, all our guests stayed out on the Ranch (about 75 cabins) so they could stumble home. The food was amazing, best ever! Everything ran so smooth all the way to the fireworks at the end. Everyone is still calling me telling me how much fun they had at our "Dude Ranch" wedding. William Flusche- A+ I loved my photographer. He works with Brett and does Photography on the side but is sooooo good at it. I got him for probably half the price of a normal photographer and have been sooooo pleased with him! I loved my bridals and the previews he has already shown me are fantastic. I will get a CD with all my pictures this week. TNT Photobooths- A+ The photobooth was a hit, they set up and break everything down for you. Everyone loved the photobooth and if you have extra money in your budget I would highly suggest one! Aztec Rentals- A They delivered everything on time Thursday to the Dude Ranch and picked everything up on Monday. All the tables, chairs and linens were perfect. Can't say anything bad about them. Occaseany Veils- A++ I made my veil online for $30 and couldnt be happier. It was perfect for what I wanted and again I will have pictures so soon. Pearls Place- A++ I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from Pearls Place to save $. My BM dresses were originally $190 in stores and I got them from Pearls Place for $125 shipping and tax included. The only thing you have to pay for all of them at once! I didnt mind I just put it on a card and all the girls payed me back right away! Al's Formal Wear- A All the tuxes were great and the guys looked sooooo nice. Brett got his for free too! Sorry so long! Again I will put up pictures soon! I have A LOT for sale! So if you are having a fall themed wedding or deep red, gold, and choc color wedding get ready!
