How far in advance....?

Another question ladies...  How far in advance did you find that you needed to book locations and vendors?  I'm worried a little because we will be out of country for a few more months and are thinking about an Oct 2010 wedding.  I'm wondering if that might be too soon if we can't start planning until Jan.Thanks!Beth

    10 months out should give you enough time. Be prepared that you may not get your first picks for everything, but you shouldn't have a problem finding available vendors.

    I agree with PP, however if you already know and have decided which vendors you'd like to use then I'd go ahead and book now. You might save a bit of money by booking early.

    October is the busiest wedding month in San Antonio. If you know what you want then I would book now. Most places book a year out.

    yeah, I second that. October is a huge month for weddings! There were already people that had the dates I wanted on hold at both venues I was looking at. Good luck!
