I’m still very early in my planning so I don’t have many questions to post, but I usually take some time to see what’s going on in here.  

Just wanted to write and say that I thought your later post of the whole "nevermind” mess about being under pressure was pretty great & insightful.  Being engaged only 2 months, I would be foolish to speak to the stress level involved in wedding planning, but the way you broke out the needs, wants, responsibilities, I think it really puts things in perspective!   

OP may have ignored your advice, but it is helpful for other brides! So ladies, keep dishing out great advice here

I'm absolutely not an expert or anything. I just thought it was a funny coincidence that my friend/BM and I were having that same conversation last night ... I'd be lying if I said I've had a totally stress-free engagement (check out my post on the DIY board about being ready to scream over printing out RSVP envelopes, lol), but I've found that putting things into perspective and consciously saying, "Why am I worrying about this?" has helped make the process fairly painless so far.

But ask me again in a month in a half during crunch time :P
