I'm beginning to get more rest. She slept in two 3.5-4 hour ish spurts last night and did about the same the night before. I just hope the trend continues!! I nap when I can. I'm lucky that Christmas Day is at ny rents so I can go sleep somewhere guilt free. The unlucky part is that they live an hour away but we'll learn to deal.

Trix, it's really unbelievable. There are also times I forget that I'm someone's mother! I also think I didn't have a true appreciation fit my mom until now. Dont get me wrong. I have always had a great relationship with her and but now I "get" it. During the week I had the blues and wondered, "why did we plan this??" I aldo called her in tears saying, "I know I'm a parent now but I've never wanted my mommy more." I'm still amazed at Julia every day. I see differences in facial expressions and alertness that just astound me. And I also love seeing DH as a father. He is great with her.

We had a great Christmas! 
 
She met BIL and SIL who drove out from OH on Christmas Eve.  On Christmas Day she met my brother along with other family members including her GREAT grandmother. 

We also had the Christmas pleasure of giving her an emergency bath on Christmas Eve at 11:30 due to her diaper loading talents.
