PHOTOGRAPHY?

Good Evening LADIES,
            I'm on the search for a photographer, though I would like to stay in my budget, I'm also hearing good and bad reviews about certain PHOTOGRAPHERS, maybe you ladies know where i'm confuse at. Any ideas or suggestions would help and be gratefully appreciated.

I would highly recommend the photographer we used at our wedding, Josh Fowler Photography. Josh works with his wife, Emily, and they did an excellent job for our engagement pics, bridals and wedding. You can see some of their pictures in my wedding bio under pro pics.  I would consider him as more a journalistic type photographer. The only posed pictures we took were the formals with our families. I also classify him in the middle range in terms of pricing. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive either.

Another favorite on this board is Caitlin's Creations. She has done amazing work for some of the knotties on here, and her prices are very reasonable.  I have only heard good things about her.

Both of those photographers also provide your images to you on a CD/DVD with copyright release, which I consider to be very important.

Don't know anything about mariachis though, sorry. )

I am using Old World Photography. They are coming to San Antonio for free from Austin, and the price is middle of the road. Also, they are a husband and wife team.

I second Old World Studios. I used them for my wedding about a year ago and they were fantasic..and extremely nice to work with. They were one of my favorite vendors : )

We had a mariachi group for my fiancee's birthday in September called Mariachi Conquistadors.. They have a myspace page.  They were awesome!  Very good performance, nice selection of music and very personable.  I think they play at a restaurant too.. My future daughter-in-law found them.  We definitely want them for our wedding.  Good luck!
