Bridesmaid is complaining

That she is 8 months pregnant and wearing a tea lengh dress. I NEED all my bridesmaids to stand outside in the 1-10 inches of snow to get my pretty pictures, and BM is complaining that it's too cold to take pictures in a tea length strapless dress.

How do I get her to shut up and deal with it so I get my pretty pictures?

TYIA :-)

She's 8 months pregnant - she'll be the only one comfortable in the 10 inches of snow.  Everyone knows a pregnant woman's body temperate is about 20 degrees higher than that of a normal person :P

    Oh, and YAY! (almost)

  • Is she complaining or flat out refusing? If she's just complaining you can probably just guilt her into it the day of. Practice your pouty face :)  Promise her it will only take a few minutes.  If everyone else is outside taking pictures she will not want to feel left out. She'll warm up to the idea on Saturday; but don't make the pictures outside last too long. Have fun in the snow and with your wedding Saturday!!!

    Uh oh...lol.

Well, I say you kick her to the curb since she's clearly being a bad friend and BM. And, um, who was she to think it would be okay to time her pregnancy so that she'd be inconvencing you on your special day anyway? [[eye roll]]

  • Well, you're first mistake was not making her sign the brideslave contract that legally bound her from get pregnant during your engagement. Rookie mistake.

Good call, Meg. Mine will be required to do weekly weigh-ins and if anyone goes over the 5 lbs mark, they're out.

There was a bride on zilla's who made her BM's weight in, but they had to be HEAVIER then x amount of LB's or they wouldn't be in. She even said "you girls know why you were chosen" they were all bigger then her. She wouldn't let her one BM wear spanx cause she would "look better then her"

    Crazycakes.

Anyway, thanks girls. Bored at work, wants to just go home, it's my last day. Thanks for the chuckle :-)
