Bridesmaids Gifts

I'd like some ideas from you gals on bridesmaids gifts. So far I have purchased personalized totes for each of them. I also purchased some candles, lotions, etc. from Bath and Body Works. Any other ideas on what I could put in there to fill them? In a way I don't want it to just be a bag of goodies...but at the same time I have been in wedding parties and always disliked the boring gifts given. I figure these filled totes are practical. All ideas are greatly appreciated!

Fill them with things each individual girl will like based on her personality rather than generic "girl" gifts.

Shop for them as friends first and bridesmaids second.  What would you buy them if you were shopping for their birthdays?  That's their present.

I got a tote that said "bridesmaid" filled with random lotions and stuff as a gift for my sister's wedding.  Went pretty much straight into the trash.

If you've already bought the totes and the random crap, fine, but you should also look for something that they would individually enjoy to put in there as well.  They don't all have to get the same thing.
