Today was pretty entertaining but the poster on WP really made me bang my head on my desk. I think both "house maid" threads are from the same poster and she was just being incredibly rude.

I was happy to see that a few of us jumped to Addie's defense. I'm not as active as Addie but I notice she's the  nicest poster on TK and to attack on a personal level is just mean and uncalled for. Addie, your pictures are beautiful btw.

Anyway; I thought I'd start a "Why you love Addie thread"

    Hahaha! Thank you...this warms my heart. And all I can think is that if I were in that wedding Stage was in with the labeled bridesmaid panties, I like to think my panties would read "The Nice One" because I really do try to be!

    I love Addie because she seriously is the nicest Knottie ever.  Also, she stays classy when dealing with rudness (I turn into a werebear or something).

    Also, she rocks waterfalls as accessories.  That's hardcore dood.

    I love that Addie always manages to say what I'm thinking without coming off snarky. That's why I don't post half the time. I just can't think of how to say what I want without being unnecessarily annoyed. So...I appreciate being able to just say "yup, what she said."

    Plus the poster on the other thread is insane. Addie's wedding looks STUNNING. And I want her hair.

    I also love Addie because she is super nice to newbs, and generally, everyone.  I try to be that nice, but I just don't have it in me.

    I almost don't want her banned so everyone can see what an ugly person she is!

    What made me laugh the most was her saying after seeing my wedding pics she knew she didn't want my advice. As if her dislike of my dress and my bridesmaids' dresses/pashminas (not "scarves" b/c only the best for MY b!tches!) somehow negated my ability to comment on what is and is not good manners or treating people the right way. 

    Bridalmarch: Thank you!  That's what my husband calls me!

    Pele, Salsera, CMGilpin, and Hoboken: Thank you! I do try to be nice even when I don't want to be as long as the poster seems genuine. It's (usually) only after they turn ugly or start stamping their feet that you will see me get frustrated. Sometimes I just remind myself they don't know any better and I would hate to run anybody off prematurely.

    Miss Hart: Thank you!  Stalking is encouraged! 

    Vonclancey: Thank you!  My inner monologue is far snarkier, but 13 years teaching teenagers has taught me patience and how to be just sarcastic enough to avoid a lawsuit.

    If it makes any of you feel better, I believe there are more BSC ladies in the horse show circuit than on these boards ;-)

    I'm jumping in....I just started posting recently. I think Addie is awesome because I have lost count of how many times I have started to type of something snarky or sarcastic (both may as well be my middle names, but I swear I mean well!), and then read what Addie wrote and changed my mind. She's a sweetie. Also, I love waterfalls.

    Oh Lord, where would I begin, lol!  I love horse people and I enjoy being around them, but sometimes they are just divas and just nuts.

    Sorry I meant the universal "you" as in all you knotties in that line.  Your pics have gorgeous curly hair and a fabulous color palette, though!

    Oh what type of rider were you?  Did you own your own horse?
