What do you think of giving each bridesmaid a painting? I love to paint and am pretty good at it (one of them has already said that she would love a painting someday), but I don't know if this would be tacky or rude. It wouldn't be wedding related but most likely reflect on each person or just be something pretty. For instance, one girl I want to ask absolutely loves books and libraries, so it would probably be something related to that.
I know I have a long time, but I am typically pretty busy (but with the summer coming up, I should have a good amount of free time to do this) and so I would like to get started within the next few months. Each one, would probably take me 2 weeks at least, depending on the size and complexity. Though it could take up to a month or two for each one, again depending on what I decide on, which is why I want to start sometime soon. I am just kind of worried this is a tacky or rude gift.
