Shower venue issue.

My friend and I are hosting a shower for one another (her baby shower, my bridal shower). I decided I can have hers at my house. Thing is, she wants to host my shower at my house also. I know she doesn't really have the space and all, but I really feel uncomforatble having my bridal shower at my own house. It feels like I'm throwing it myself which I am not okay with.
How do I tell her I'd like her to find somewhere else? It seems like it'd be easy enough but I really don't know what to do.

I think it would be strange to have it at your house.  Would your mom, aunt, a BM or another friend be willing to have it at their house?

Can't you just address the invitations from her and put "hosted by (her name)" and rsvp to her?  It will probably save her a lot of money rather than having to find somewhere to do it. I doubt guests will feel like you are putting on your own show.
