moms as bridesmaids?

So my mom is going to be my maid of honor, which i am so happy about. My other bridesmaids are going to be my sisters my new sister in law and my best friend.  As well, i felt obligated to ask my mother in law to be a bridesmaid. I dont mind her being a bm but i dont know if that is weird? or too unusual?...

Don't feel obligated. If you want her to be a bm, ask her. If not, don't. She is still the MOG so she won't feel left out.

Until I came here, I have never heard of a MOB or MOG being a bridesmaid or maid of honor. to me MOB and MOG are also honored guests, so I don't think you should feel obligated to include her in your BP.

Don't include her if you don't really want her as a bridesmaid. Being a MOG is an honor enough.

My mom is my MOH also! My other bridesmaids are a couple of sisters and friends. Although my fiance's mom and I are close, I def don't feel bad about not making her a BM. I was considering that she would be one of the readers....maybe you could do that?
