Memories in Print: A+ Beautiful selection from the most expensive to the least expensive invitations. Very pleased with the service and speed of S&H.
Papersource: A+ Online company and store in Dallas, TX. I purchased paper for DIY programs and escort cards. The saleswoman at the store was very helpful and gave me a lot of ideas to start with. I also used materials purchased from Michael's to add some bling.
Music
Harpist: Nelda Etheridge: A+ She was very quick to repond to my emails. She is a woman of very little words and is very direct too. As our wedding party walked down the aisle I was able to hear her perform and it was amazing. This was definitely something I had dreamed of having at my wedding.
JAB productions A++++++ Totally awesome. They are not considered one of your higher end DJs and are extremely reasonably priced. I was a little skeptical at first but went with my gut feeling. I have a friend who is a DJ in NY and he recommended them to me. They were awesome. They played almost every song on our list with some additions of their own (which I had asked them to do if they felt the crowd would continue dancing). James and Anna were easy to reach and always replied with in 24 hrs to all of my emails. I highly recommend them.
Rehearsal Dinner
Pericos - Stone Oak location: A++++ Awesome food and service. They also throw in a bunch of extras such as appetizers for free with our meals. We were lucky in that they had an awesome band playing that evening. Our guest from out of town really enjoyed listening to the Tejano and Texas country music. They also have a really nice playground for the kids.
Other:
Wedding favor cookies: A+ Banegas Bakery off Rigsby. One of my close friends recommended this place for traditions mexican wedding cookies. It is not in the nicest parts of town but the cookies were delicious. They even put them in a cute pink box for you. As a matter of fact, I had to order more the day before the wedding and was able to pick up more cookies 1 hour later.
The knot: A- I bought some really cute cocktail and dinner napkins from their online store. I got luckey in that they were all on sale. My only complaint is the dinner napkin design was no centered correctly (not enough to notice but still). We also ordered matches for sparkler send-off. Really cute but noticed the day of wedding that some were missing the last 2 letters of "Darnell's" name. So not cool.
Buysparklers.com: A+ We bought the 36" sparklers for our sparker send off. I can't wait to see the pics. The great thing about this company is they allow you to pick up your order at one of the Alamo Firework stands in town. We also got a coupon in the mail for 20% off.
Amazon.com: I have ordered plenty of items from several sellers on Amazon and have never had issues with any of them. We bought an infants tuxedo, paper fans, LCD tea lights, and luminarias all for a reasonable price and all were delivered to us in less than a week.
