How do you feel about the Hangover being nominated for best comedic picture at the golden globes?I think it's hilarious that it's nominated. Now my parents will watch it. I don't think it will win though. It's up against some good stuff.
What piece of news do you think people will remember 2009 by? Michael Jackson's death, Octomom, and some other stuff. I guess we'll have to wait 10 years to really know.

What piece of news do you think people will remember 2009 by? Michael Jackson's death ... if not "just him", then the abudance of celebrity deaths (There seemed to be an unsually large number this year).

How do you feel about the Hangover being nominated for best comedic picture at the golden globes?  Haven't actually seen it, but I'll probably bump it up the Netflix queue.  It's a goal of mine every year to see all of the above-the-line Oscar nominated films before the awards show, but I've yet to achieve that.  We'll see what happens this year.

What piece of news do you think people will remember 2009 by?  The summer of celebrity death.  Seriously, how many big names did we lose between May and September?  I lost track.

Emily, me too. My little sis and her boyfriend went to see and loved it and told me and DH to see it. Since I never trust their movie taste, I was thinking, "no way..." but then we kept hearing that it was funny from friends so we caved and went. It was hilarious, and it's not about poop humor. If you haven't seen it, I would definitely pick it up!
