AW: a little WR

So I was literally just in the middle of writing a post venting about a stupid fight FI and I had last night about the RB (That I knew was stupid, but I just wanted to blow off steam), when I get paged by the receptionist at work, telling me I had a box waiting for me in the office lobby.

I get the box and open it, it's a dozen multi-colored roses, a little teddy bear and a tiny box of chocolates with a card that says

"To My Future Wife:

I love you more than anything. You are beautiful in every sense of the word. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you in my arms.

Love- Meg's FI"

And of course, I called him immediately to gush, and he said that he knows that we're getting down to the wire and we're both really exicited and stressed ... and he really just wanted to remind me that he knows most of the wedding arguements are silly and won't matter when it's all over, the important thing is that we'll be married at the end of the day.

I really just feel so lucky and blessed that this is the guy I'm going to spend the rest of my life with.

Sorry for being so mushy, but I can't help it, I needed to AW this.

Well, it really was a stupid fight. Pretty much I told FI I really didn't feel comfortable having the RB (His nephew) carrying the actual rings, I'd really just prefer giving them to "grown ups" and have dummy rings on the pillow.

He got all mad (Though he'll be the first to admit, the kid most likely would manage to lose the rings) saying that giving him fake rings was going to "cheapen the experience". Really?

Which, I'm not going to lie, I still think I'm right about this, lol, but it's not worth fighting over right now, we've still got time to figure something like this out (I mean, we really could make this decision day of if we had to).

So yeah, stupid fight ... didn't really come to a conclusion on it, but I think if we step away from it for a few days it'll work out.

And he really is a great guy, I'm really lucky. I know there's other couples that having this fight would cause them to not speak to each other for days, or it would turn into a real "battle". If there's one thing him and I do "well", it's fight. We always manage to work things out so we're both happy.
