• Did you/are you inviting an ex to your wedding? We both did. He and his ex are really close because they have known each other since they were kids. my ex was invited, but he didn't come. Our mutual friends came though and they told me during the reception that my ex still had feelings for me so he wouldn't come. Now he won't return my calls. It makes me sad.
Who's better at video games, you or your SO?Definitely me, although he's better at shooting games.
What's your opinion on the show Jersey Shore?I know Meg hates it. I don't like it, but I find it on my tv a lot. I just saw the episode where Snookie gets punched in the face and that was crazy that a grown man would punch a little woman like that.

Who's better at video games, you or your SO? DH

What's your opinion on the show Jersey Shore? I've never seen it.

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
• Did you/are you inviting an ex to your wedding? Yes (well technically to the party in CA, but if we were having the ceremony in CA he'd still be invited). He was my first BF when we were 14/15, but we've known each other since we were 9, so I really just see him as an old friend rather than an ex.

Who's better at video games, you or your SO? FI, hands down.

What's your opinion on the show Jersey Shore? Never seen it, but what from I hear I can't decide whether it's more ridiculous that people like this exist or that they can become celebrities.
• Did you/are you inviting an ex to your wedding? Only one of my exes, who broke up with me six years ago, and who is gay. He works for a floral distributor, he is doing our flowers, and we've been great friends since we broke up.

Who's better at video games, you or your SO? He is. Absolutely.

What's your opinion on the show Jersey Shore? Never seen it. Never had any interest.

• Did you/are you inviting an ex to your wedding?
Yes, my first love (& his wife),who I count as my best friend ever. I contemplated having my most recent ex's little girl as the flower girl, but then either he or her mom would have to come with her, and I didn't want any awkwardness for them. The daughter and I are still really close, and FI doesn't mind that. I think he likes her too!
Who's better at video games, you or your SO?
Definitely FI. He is a WoWer.. and we have every game console known to man, except atari.. He got me a Wii thinking he could get me into gaming, and I like it, but I'm not addicted.
What's your opinion on the show Jersey Shore?
Its like a tanned, shiny trainwreck. I can't help but watch. I bet Pauly and Snookie get married one day. Just a hunch..

Did you/are you inviting an ex to your wedding? No. We each only have one "real" ex, and both relationships ended really badly (His ended "for good" when it came out that his ex slept with my ex-on more than one occasion- about a year into their 5 year relationship. Mine ended with a restraining order ... I seriously should start selling my memoirs to a soap opera, lol, my real life is a 'gold mine' )

Who's better at video games, you or your SO? He is, but he thinks it's "sexy" that I try, lol. I actually love gaming (The Final Fantasy music for our ceremony was all my idea), I play WoW and stuff, but he's way superior ... I'll actually have him beat really tough "bosses" for me after I've been killed 20 times, lol.

What's your opinion on the show Jersey Shore? You're right, Stina, I hate it. But that's because the show doesn't accurately represent the people that actually live here ... it's a very acurate representation of the obnoxious Bennies ("Tourists" for you non-locals) that we deal with from Memorial Day to Labor Day every year though. You people should pity me, I've been hit on by guys like The Situation on many, many occasion. I think I wouldn't mind so much if maybe they called the show something else that indicated it's not "local" people on camera.

• Meg, I certainly never thought that locals acted like that. Its just like what goes on every spring break and summer on S. Padre Island here in Texas. The locals are cool, but then the Egos take over the town and its just ridiculous. That's all those kids are, egos.

• Did you/are you inviting an ex to your wedding?
No. Neither one of us is really in contact with any of our exes anymore. One of my friends was going to bring a guy that I hooked up with in college as her date, but she ended up not.
Who's better at video games, you or your SO?
Me. By a lot. I think he was secretly relieved when the Wii got stolen. But I'm still going to replace it.

What's your opinion on the show Jersey Shore?
I've never seen it, but I know it is a bunch of trash running around screwing each other. I see all I need to see on the Soup.
• Wait, Meg, the people on the show don't actually live there? Or is it just that they have the non-local attitude? US pop culture confuses me so much these days.
• Did you/are you inviting an ex to your wedding? Nope. Haven't had all that many exes, honestly. FI's had more exes than I have, but he hasn't remained close with any, mainly because several of them cheated on him.

Who's better at video games, you or your SO? We're pretty evenly matched. He's better at the direct competitive games, but I can usually get through the single player games faster (and with a higher completion rate) than he does.

What's your opinion on the show Jersey Shore? Like MNIN, I get all I need of that show through The Soup. I'm extremely grateful to have found The Soup, I can get the highlights of entertainingly terrible TV without having to sit through the dregs.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
