Re: WPBP of the day

  • What is your favorite ride at a carnival/fair? I can't remember how to describe my favorite one.  It was this big rickety revolving thing like a spider with bucket seats.

What is your favorite ride at a theme park? Great Bear at Hershey.  I like roller coasters, but in some of them I don't feel secure enough by the restraints even though I should.  The Great Bear is definitely secure, and I like the track.

(Now for Meg and Aerin)What is your favorite Disney ride? Never been to Disney.

Have you ever been in an actual tunnel of love? Nope.
  • What is your favorite ride at a carnival/fair? The Zipper. OMG, I LOVE flipping out of control!
What is your favorite ride at a theme park? The Viper at 6 Flags, CA. There are 6 loops! It's my mom's favorite too.
(Now for Meg and Aerin)What is your favorite Disney ride?I have different favorites depending on what land I am in, as well as what park I'm in....My fave Fantasy land ride is Peter Pan. In Adventure land, it's Indiana Jones, and I always love Haunted Mansion.
Have you ever been in an actual tunnel of love?Nope, I think it would be super sketch!

  • Oooh, I hate old rickety wood roller coasters. They hurt my boobies!

  • What is your favorite ride at a carnival/fair? Don't know...I'm always kind of worried the fun ones haven't been set up well and will collapse, but the less dangerous ones like the carrousel are boring.

What is your favorite ride at a theme park? Maybe Top Gun at Great America? Haven't been in years.

(Now for Meg and Aerin)What is your favorite Disney ride? California Screamin at California Adventure. Within Disneyland itself, Thunder Mountain.

Have you ever been in an actual tunnel of love? Nope.
  • Emily, I too love Top Gun. I have only been on it once though. And California Screamin' may be the smoothest roller coaster I've ever been on.

  • What is your favorite ride at a carnival/fair? Centrifuge!
What is your favorite ride at a theme park? Not many since I don't like to go upside-down or on long drops.  And ferris wheels freak me out.
(Now for Meg and Aerin and Brooke)What is your favorite Disney ride? Space Mountain.
Have you ever been in an actual tunnel of love? No.

  • Fair rides? Never been to a fair. We don't really have a good one around here.
Theme Park Ride? I like the huge swings and any water rides when it's summer and super hot outside!
Disney? Last time I was there I was 6 and I can't remember it. I need to go soon though!
    Tunnel of Love? Nope

This WPBP makes me feel boring :)

Not that I remember, but I did kiss a guy while hiding out in a big cement culvert. Does that count? LOL

  • So do tunnels of love even exist in real life?
  • What is your favorite ride at a carnival/fair?  I'm a big fan of tilt-a-whirls.

What is your favorite ride at a theme park?  Non-Disney would probably be Supreme Scream at Knott's Berry Farm.  I actually wrote a short story about it.

(Now for Meg and Aerin)What is your favorite Disney ride?  Aww, thanks!  Like Meg, this is such a hard choice...  Of the ones I've worked, I'll say Toy Story at DCA and the Tiki Room at Disneyland.  Of the others, probably Tower of Terror at DCA and Haunted Mansion at Disneyland.

Have you ever been in an actual tunnel of love?  Nope, but I've gotten pretty frisky in the Mansion.  Sadly most of the best Disney rides for getting a little nookie are gone, though their inappropriate nicknames live on.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • Aerin, I went to Disneyland for Grad night and the doom buggy next to me was smoking pot. The ride stopped and the announcer said "Put the dooby out!" lol

  • There are cameras EVERYWHERE in there.  I think Small World is the only ride without at least partial camera coverage, though I think they've corrected it now.  On the slow, get-into-trouble type rides, the cameras see ALL.  (I never actually worked a ride with camera coverage, because on every attraction I learned, the cast members could directly observe the guests.)

I loved Grad Nites because it was anything-goes.  City Hall is closed, and it's a bunch of cranky, sleep-deprived CMs against a bunch of teenagers.  You can get away with MURDER.

    Flying Bobs
What is your favorite ride at a theme park?
The red crazy roller coaster at Six Flags over New England. Don't remember the name.
(Now for Meg and Aerin)What is your favorite Disney ride?
A tie between the Tower of Terror and The Rock'n'Roller Roller Coaster.
Have you ever been in an actual tunnel of love?
