Help me dress them!

I don't know if this is better here or in attire....

I'm looking for cheap (less than $150) bm dresses in red, that will look good on both a size 2 and a size 16. I'd prefer knee length to tea length, suitable for an outdoor ceremony, and I'm more than happy to get them off the rack.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Check out The Limited and Macy's. I think size is not as important as body shape, so let them pick what they are most comfortable in.

What sort of size 2?  What sort of size 16?  There's a lot more to what will look good on them than their simple size number.

David's Bridal has a pretty decent selection for under $150.  Also check out J. Crew or Ann Taylor.  If you find something from a bridal designer, you can check for it on resellers like Pearl's Place, RK Bridal, or Netbride, or look for it in their size (which may not be their street size) on eBay, Craigslist, or the Trash to Treasure board on the Nest.

Try a place like DB or AA and let them pick their own cut/style in the same color and length.  That way you don't have to worry about one style flattering everybody.  LOTS of knotties have done this and it looks great because all the BMs look great!

It's great if you can go to a store where they can buy a great dress OTR and then have that tailored.

Or pick out your desired shade of red from Alfred Angelo or David's Bridal (which both have selections under $150, I think) and let them pick their own knee-length style. They might even be able to find them on eBay or something:

2 BMs are size 0, 1 is a 4, 1 is an 8, and 1 is a 14. they all look great and love the dresses (so they told me). I think they look great in the dresses.
