My dress has finally finally finally shipped! The shop called me this morning to say they have a confirmation and it should arrive to them a week from today. I'm not planning on getting alterations there - it's over two hours away and I want to take it to a nearby seamstress rather than use the boutique's alterations department.
Do I still take my shoes and possible headpiece with me to see the whole look just to pick it up, or should I save all of that for my first alteration appointment?
Also, I'm about 5 months out right now. What's the general alteration schedule? I *think* I'm smaller than I was when I bought it, and while I'm still working out I'm not looking to lose an extreme amount of weight. I'm more focused on toning up my arms and back. I also need a bustle.
