BM dresses and shoes?

Hey there knotties! For my BMs I have decided to let them all choose the dress but stick to the same color. They will all be the same length and color then but what should I have them do about shoes? Our colors are blue, green, and brown (yay nature!) and I'd love to let them choose their own shoes, in brown, silver, blue, green, whatever color they want! Do you think that would be too much variety and difference between each girl? Too much to have totally different shoes after haivng different dresses already? I think it'll work out for them, but what do you think?

I think its fine to let them choose their own shoes. THen they will be comfortable and happier than if they were forced to wear something. As long as their shoes match the formality of their dresses it shouldn't be an issue.

It sounds fine I am sure that they can run them by you for you to check it out, I am thinking that Id like to maybe have all the girls in red shoes (even me)  has that is one of my colors and their dresses would be navy.

I think asking them to pick their own shoes is perfect.

If you think it'll look good, it'll look good. It's really just a question of how matching you want them to be, and it sounds like that's not as important to you...the guests won't think it's weird that they're wearing different shoes.

If you want to bring a bit more consistency to it, you could narrow it down to one color and ask them to wear anything in that particular color.  But no one is really going to notice their shoes, so if you want to leave both color and style up to them, it's perfectly fine.
