BRIDESMAID Gift Ideas?

I need some cute bridesmaid gift ideas on a budget. I would love to give them free mani's and pedi's, but I know the cost will be out of budget. What are you giving your maids? Any suggestions?

TIA!

  • Please read the post at the top of the page: "New here?  Read this first."  You will get your answer.

A word of warning from your friends at Cracked.com: Remember that text is going to be how you make your first impression over the internet; if every third word you type is misspelled, people will automatically assume that you're a moron.
  • THank you, but that doesn't really give me many substantial ideas.

  • Well, presumably you know these girls better than strangers on the internet would.  So "shop like it's their birthday or Christmas" is the best advice you can get.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • BM gifts should be individually purchased based on each BMs likes and dislikes.  If you go for the same gift for each BM, just make sure that each would like it.

Think of each BM and what she likes and go from there.  Shop sales or specials that online retailers offer and you'll find some great stuff.  Remember, the BM gift isn't a "wedding" themed gift.

Also, do remember that a gift to be used for your wedding isn't a gift to them.
  • Take the bridesmaid part out of it.  What would you get them if you were shopping for ANYTHING other than your wedding?  A birthday?  Christmas?  Their graduation?

    Okay, now go shopping.
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146
  • Shop for their specific tastes and interests.  Since we don't know these girls, we can't really say what they would like.

I could tell you that I got my sister tickets to see Eddie Vedder, but unless one of your girls is a Pearl Jam fanatic, that probably isn't going to help you much, KWIM?

That's the point. You know them better than strangers on the internet do. The only substantial ideas we could give you would be totally generic, which is not the best option.
