Hey, I haven't been around in a while, but I noticed some shenanigans on the Favors board.  Is CA2MT4ever still posting 'round these parts?  

Looks like someone hacked into her account?  How is this even possible?  

Anyway, how have y'all been? 

Banana, when are you due?  Do you know the sex?

So - they think her account was now hacked?  That is a separate issue from the whole flip-flop/deletingposts/editingposts/attitude troubles that are going on over there, yes?

Who knows favors could be so interesting?

Yeah Joy, if you check out her posts it says something like "Don't make ur password so easy", etc. in the sig. I think somebody probably got ahold of her account, adding to all the drama going on over there. Favors. Who knew?

Right.  Her avatar has Mickey Mouse saying something like, "If you don't like my attitude  Fvck you."  I just thought it was weird.  I wouldn't even begin to know how to figure out a posters password - or maybe you don't need it.  Yeah, definitely fascinating - and apparently, a couple of posters may have been banned as a result?

Yeah, who knew the Favors board was so controversial.

Do they think her account was hacked several days ago and the hacker wrote the responses people are upset with?  Or, do they think people didn't like her responses and were getting angry, so a hacker decided to break into her account?

I feel like it was the latter since she had sticky-ed stuff, edited posts without apology, and even defended herself here.

Maybe I'm way off base.  I'm only half paying attention over there.

I lurked a little bit over there yesterday, and her account started changing yesterday afternoon. I don't think it was hacked until yesterday.

Okay, that is what I was thinking, too.

I just read the "Banana" thread below and someone said she was on vacation this week and bunch of regulars over there were banned (like NQB).  My head hurts trying to figure this out

To add to this topic... 3 regular girls from NEY have also been banned from the Knot. All 3 called out the mod for being rude. 2 of them reported her, and they're now banned.

So the whole thing is really crazy.

So, she banned them?  This is just so strange.  As a mod, you're cautioned, especially on those boards to be more "puppied and rainbows."  Was she really out of line on that board?  Had she overstepped boundaries?

There were some of her responses that were harsh, and she went back and edited them after the crap hit the fan. I think as a Mod, she was maybe a little out of line. Looking through the older posts, it just seemed like things were way too heavy and harsh in there for something as light as favors.

I just seems like a major trainwreck.

Ah, that's too bad.  I think she was trying really hard to "educate", although that isn't the job of the mod.  Oh well.

I think what I've gathered is that she was being really harsh to posters, a few were asking her not to be rude, and she banned them and went back to change/delete her responses including ones in which she had been quoted.  Then her account may have been hacked.  A couple people e-mailed KA and I think KA is the one who may be away this week.

Oh, she was pretty rude. The best example is a girl who had ordered personalized water bottles to give to guests (not her only favour) and they  had just come in and she was excited about them. The Mod pretty much jumped right on her saying it was a waste of money for something that would just be crumbled up and thrown away, so her favours were just garbage.

She also had a serious hate-on for flip flops at a reception. She made a sticky about all of her reasons why she hated baskets of flip flops available to guests at receptions.

Oh wow, I didn't know she made a sticky about hating flip-flops.  Aw man, I had personalized water bottles.  I don't know how water can be a waste of money, but oh well.

Aren't there other Knot Gods who can see to stuff like this?  KA surely can't be the only one.

As far as hacking her account, it can't be that hard.  All they'd have to know is her email address, and then guess her password to be able to log in as her.  It wouldn't surprise me if the Knot didn't have some sort of security lockout in place (as in, if you've tried too many wrong passwords, it won't let you in until you get it reset).
