Mom as Maid of Honor?

I've been to weddings where the father of the groom has been the best man.  I was just wondering if anyone had heard of a wedding with the mother of the bride serving as the matron of honor?

    I've heard of it and I think it's a very nice thing to do. Ask your mom, I'm sure she'd be honored and thrilled!

    Yup, I've definately heard of it.  I bet your mom would be very touched if you asked her to be your MOH.
