Mom as Maid of Honor?

I've been to weddings where the father of the groom has been the best man.  I was just wondering if anyone had heard of a wedding with the mother of the bride serving as the matron of honor?

Re: Mom as Maid of Honor?

  • I've heard of it and I think it's a very nice thing to do. Ask your mom, I'm sure she'd be honored and thrilled!

  • Yup, I've definately heard of it.  I bet your mom would be very touched if you asked her to be your MOH.

  • I've heard of it and seen it. I bet your mom would really like to be MOH.

  • I agree with everyone else - ask her!
  • Heard of it but never seen it.  I think it's a great idea, though!
