Wedding Party

I almost lost...

my diamond earring in the shower today. I was washing my hair and a piece of it caught onto the earring. I spent about 10 minutes naked with conditioner in my hair trying to look down the drain.

Luckily, both the backing and the earring were near the EDGE of the shower. I cried upon finding it. I know we could've replaced it no problem, but he bought me these for the wedding. It would be a shame to replace one. Phew, crisis overted!

Re: I almost lost...

  • I almost lost one of mine!  DH gave me 1/3 carat studs after we were dating for a year and one came loose at work.

It's the day of the diamond...
  • I even thought to take off the shower drain cover, take my remaining earring, and drop  it through to see if it could've fallen through. It could. That's when I started panicking.

  • That's really scary!  I left my e-ring on the sink of the hotel bathroom shortly after we got engaged, and didn't realize it until we had already done the quick check-out thing, leaving the keys inside the room.  We went immediately down to the desk and got another key, but it was scary.  I take off my ring and put it in the same spot in the bedroom when I'm showering or doing really messy baking.

So glad you found it!  It would have sucked to have to replace it.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
