Hmm.. Interesting

Make sure everyone in the wedding party is aware of what you expect of them -- especially your bridesmaids and groomsmen. Provide a list of duties to the maid of honor and a list of to-dos to the best man.

This is one of my To Dos for the month. Thought it was interesting since there are so many opinions on here about the "role" of the WP. :)

    TK is part of the wedding industry designed to sell you stuff.  Of course they're going to tell you that your WP has duties - they also think you should give your bm's tank tops that say "bridesmaid" across the front (helpfully purchased from their advertisers.)

    lol yeah I just thought it was funny that it popped up on my To Do List. I would NEVER give my WP a list of To Dos. That's just crazy! haha

    Lol. I ignore nearly all of the checklist. I'm not even sure if I'm going to continue using it, it's so dumb.

    I don't follow any of the 'checklists' that TK provides, they're all SO ridiculous! I don't need anyone to be my biotch and/or 'give me support' when it comes to planning my wedding.

    Sometimes I look at the pictures for hair and reception ideas-but that's about it. 98% of the time, I come on TK for the boards. I'm so glad I discovered them!

    Yeah, I just crossed off all of the totally ridiculous stuff and moved on.  It was pretty good about keeping me on track for most of it, but I'd pretty much abandoned the checklist by about a month out.  At that point, I had a pretty good grasp on what was still left to be done.

    Also, hi Emily!  I haven't seen you around all that much lately!
    This is a neglected planning bio.
    This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

    Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

    Totally saw this on Bridezillas the other day!  The bride was wearing a hot pink rhinestone tank top and all her BMs were wearing black.  I can only assume she made them buy those.

    Oh man Bridezillas is ridiculous. I watch it for the drama lol but would never act like those brides. AND if a bride treated me that way I'd drop out of her wedding myself && never talk to her again!
