What do I get my BMs?

I have no idea of what to get my BMs......I can't even think of personal gifts that they would like......

Re: What do I get my BMs?

  • If you can't think of anything personal to get your closest friends in the entire world, how on earth would strangers on the internet know any better?

What would you get them for their birthdays?  They don't all have to get the same thing, and it shouldn't be something related to your wedding.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • Ditto Aerin. We are strangers, we don't know the first thing about your friends.

  • My BMs are each getting an heirloom copy of Grimm's Fairy Tales.  They were going to all get different books, but I think they'll all like the Grimm's.

FI is getting his groomsmen a putting set, a spice rack, a fedora, and a poker kit.  The groomswoman is getting a vibrator.  I'm not kidding.

I got each of my US BMs a giftcard to a store I know she likes (REI, Aldo and Borders, if you're wondering). Since they were going to have to pack their gifts from Chile back to the US, giftcards made the most sense. I got my Chile-based BM a print she'd wanted forever.
