If your checking with the powers that be about MODs, you may want to mention the mutiny going on over at the Favors board.  I thought people were just being too sensitive until I went back and read some of the mod's posts today. Others have noticed that she is changing her most grevious posts to sound more diplomatic.

I'm randomly butting in, because I'm nosey like that....

She was extremely rude to a lot of the posters.  I mod my local (and club) board, and girls have complained to me on both about her.  I called her out, then got a lame apology PM.

A deleted post and possible banning?  Recap, anyone?  I never knew there was a favors board or that it would be busy enough to even have a mod...

CN: the mod over on the favors board is a little power-hungry? (Which is stupid, because as a mod, I can assure you we don't get paid, and really don't get anything out of it at all.)  Everytime someone would post an idea at all it was "that's stupid. Why would you do that" kind of responses.

People started complaining, so I ventured over to check it out (I also didn't know there was a favors board.)  In one post she told someone to "not be rude to the mod" all snotty, so I quoted her and responded just saying that she should be nicer, and as a mod she should be promoting the board, not scaring people away.

Now, all of the posts where she was quoted are deleted, and she removed an entire thread about her (it wasn't mean.) She's also gone and changed all of her previous responses to sound a lot nicer.

Was there a DD on this thread?  I feel like there was another knottie that posted on here.  I'm not familiar with the favors board so I don't know who the mod is over there.

banana, CA2MT is the mod so I clicked on her name to see if I could figure out what was going on with the favors board... it says that she posted in this thread but I never saw her post.

The mod from favors posted here earlier today and then came back and deleted it after she banned all of those posters.

CA2MT4EveR is the favors mod.  Although now her avatar pic is weird; something is going on.

By the way, Banana... I posted over here awhile ago, but haven't lately.  I remember when you asked about how to avoid telling your friends why you weren't drinking  I love your baby bump!

And then my boss told me that white wasn't so slimming on me today.  Helloo!! I'm 6+ months pregnant!

He isn't Michael Scott but he's close.  I still really like the guy though.  There just isn't an inner monologue.

I think I saw in a different thread about this that that moderator's sig had been changed to something like I should have a stronger password than xyz whatever with her actual password, so it sounded like her account got hacked.  Or she really is a psycho and just put that in her sig to make it look like that lol.

Wow, a couple of those guys have been posting for a long time.  CA2 is a reg on this board, too, and she's never been nuts like this.  It's very possible that she got hacked.

Aerin, I wouldn't say CA2's a reg here, more that she was for a while a few months ago. And the closing threads/banning I don't know about, but it doesn't shock me to hear that she would be very forceful in saying that her way was the right way.

That's true, I guess I haven't seen her around these parts that often recently.  I know she mentioned at one point that she found it a little difficult to play nice on Favors, I guess she just stopped trying...
